Advice

If you pick a country outside of the EEA you will see a notification that ‘Payment card can not be issued for your region. Upon successful registration, only IBAN account will be available

Address Verification

Confirm your residence address by adding documents that show your name and the address you provided in the previous step

Suitable documents that will fit for it:

  • Bank statement (3 months or less old);
  • Utility bills for an apartment, electricity, gas, water supply, fixed Internet, cable TV;
  • Landline telephone (3 months or less old);
  • Declared address (registration), if it is indicated in your country;
  • A letter from a state institution, for example, from the land service with the calculation of the land tax for the current year;
  • Identity card of the resident;
  • Driving license (both sides, merged into a single document);
  • Student ID (both sides, merged into a single document);
  • Permanent or temporary residence permits;
  • Lease agreement (for European Union countries only);
  • Identification document or passport (for European Union countries only);
  • Mobile phone bills are not accepted

9.2

If your citizenship doesn’t match your residence address, then in the future we will additionally request proof from you: a residence permit, a D-type visa, or a refugee document (After opening an account, Blackcatcard support will contact you via SMS, chat, and email. They will ask you to provide these documents to confirm your residency status. You will need to send a copy of a document in the reply message)

STEP 10

Citizenship and ID document

Fill in your passport/ID card details

Don’t forget to fill the 'Date of expiry' correctly. If your document doesn’t have Expiry date, then tick the checkbox “My document has no expire date”

Personal identification number

Fill in your personal identification number.
The identification number is the number allocated to you by the country of your citizenship and/or residence. In case you don't know where to find it - click on the "Where can I find this number?" button, and follow the instructions
Advice
In most countries, this number is stated on the ID card or passport. If you are a resident of an EU country, this field can be found in the passport or ID card. If you reside in a country other than your country of citizenship, the required number may be specified in your Residence Permit, Refugee Certificate, or another official document confirming your residency status.

Political Activities

Tick the checkboxes, if you, your friends, and your family members are not Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).

PEPs are considered to be ministers, deputies, heads of state institutions, local governments, management of the State Revenue Service, leadership of the Central Bank, and senior representatives of judicial institutions.

Family members include wives, husbands, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.

Country of tax residence

Provide us with the tax-related information and agree to the correctness of the provided data.

15.2

If you don't have your tax ID with you at the moment, you can tick the "I will provide tax residency" checkbox, and provide the Support team with the data within 4 week since account is registered via the email or Support chat in the online bank and Mobile app.
Advice
If you don't know your tax ID/TIN number, you should contact the tax authority of the country where you live or you can also find this number on your pay slips or request it from your employer

US tax resident

Please complete required checkboxes and note that US tax residents may be requested to provide additional tax documents at Blackcatcard support team's request

Self-identification

Start self-identification procedure with selfie and your ID documents.You will need a good camera for it
Advice
  1. Your face should be clearly visible, you should look like the photo in your ID
  2. Take the selfie with uniform diffused light falling on you from the front. Remove bright sources of light from the face
  3. The camera should be approximately at your eye - level
  4. Please check the accuracy of the fields you have filled during the previous registration step. Data from the scanned ID documents must match the data you entered in your registration form
  5. When scanning an ID, all fields in the frame must be visible

You successfully complete registration and now you need to wait all KYC and AML procedures for opening account for you
